Kennedy - Business Developer

For a long time, my life consisted of a bat and a glove: The game of softball was, and still is, my passion. After graduating from Clyde High School, I was determined that I was not ready to give the sport up quite yet. I continued my education and softball career at The University of Northwestern Ohio, where I later graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. The most important thing college taught me was that connections and networking are everywhere, and unbeknownst to me, softball was my network connection. Through a mutual friend, I was introduced to Rob and Nicole, along with the rest of the Lima Senior High School softball team. I volunteered at Lima Senior throughout college and began working at The Met after a summer internship. I began as an intern but have put in hard work, passion, and perseverance to be where I am today. School, softball, and the rest of The Met team have taught me, guided me, and inspired me, to be in the position I am. Currently, I am the Business Developer at The Met and am excited to grow not only this company but also downtown Lima. The Lima Community has become my second home and means so much to me as this is where I have established myself as a businesswoman. The Lima Community has given me lifelong friends, my dream job and so much more.
